School Tales: " 'Thank You' Letters "

I find the best things when I clean out cabinets. Perhaps I should do it more often. Today I found a stack of "Thank you" letters I made the kids write to their favorite and least favorite teachers. I will post the un-edited versions. They are a riot!!

Dear Ms. T,

Thank you for being my least favorite teacher because you never let me go to the bathroom and you blame everything on me and because you make me do alot of essays. You called my mom and i got in trouble.

I want to thank you for being a great coach. You are very nice. You are the coolest teacher I ever had, because you make me laugh and are fun to be around. I want to thank you for helping me do the best I can in gym. Don't change coach, stay cool.

Dear Ms. G,

You are my favorite teacher and family time teacher because you are allways in a good mood and I like when you call my name out like ruuudy like in a deep voice. And I like what you teach.

I am writing this letter to inform you that although I am not the best student, I appreciate what you do for me. Although you are pregnant, you still put up with all of the talking and misbehaving I do, and I admire you for that. As I close, I would just like to stay "Thank you"... for everything.
