Fès

I FINALLY have a Moroccan destination and it is not Casablanca as expected, but Fès- 3rd largest city (pop. 946,815), and medieval capital of Morocco. According to my sources, it has the best-preserved old city in the Arab world, and is divided into 3 parts: Fès el Bali (the old, walled city), Fes-Jdid (home of the Mellah), and the Ville Nouvelle (the French-created, newest section).
