My daughter flew to Los Angeles on Sunday June 24th. From LAX airport, she went by van to William Carey Intl University in Pasadena (home of the Rose Bowl) for training before her teaching assignment in Morocco. She called this evening to tell us how things are going. Her typical day is a very busy, 12 hours long (8 am to 8 pm) with lots of instruction on what to expect of the assignment and the culture in Morocco, how to teach English to students who don't speak the language, plus some Arabic lessons. There are people who will be going to five other countries besides Morocco: Vietnam, China, Russia, Kazakhstan and Hungary. There are five women going to Morocco and Em says that her Moroccan roommates are awesome (a real answer to prayer). Two have been to Morocco before, including the captain. She will be flying from LA to Casablanca (via London), leaving on July 3rd with one other girl. The other three will leave on July 4th. From Casablanca, they will travel to the other city, which will be the location of the teaching assignment. She is very excited and looking forward to heading to Africa as soon as possible!

Started to read about his wonderful family "The Kinisons" It made me want to adopt Dr. Dave and ask for help remodeling some rooms I have. Hope all is well in training. Thanks for the update.
