365 days and 192 posts later, we are celebrating the blog's first birthday this 28th day of October. The blog has served many roles: catharsis during one of the worst times of my life, scrapbook of Moroccan adventures, daily journal of amusing, frustrating, and appalling middle school moments, and reflection of the Lord's goodness in my life through it all. Thank you for reading the blog. Thank you for your thoughtful and witty comments. It makes me smile when a reader emerges from the woodwork with a "Hey, I love your blog, by the way." or a "Keep posting, I read it every day." Expect more stories about Morocco to come in this, the dawn of the blog's 2nd year. Hard-pressed for time since my return to the States, I have only posted the tip of the iceberg!

Love the blog, I'm addicted to it, makes me laugh. Despite how busy we both are - well, YOU'RE crazy busy, I'M actually just lazy - it helps me stay connected to you! Keep writing; your wry sense of humor comes out naturally.

That's going to be my new tshirt. Yes! IRELAND!! I found a ticket for 650 and I just can't pass up a trip out of the states.
you know i was thinking... we should plan a trip to antarctica to celebrate our 30th bdays. that still gives us plenty of time to plan and something to look forward to when we turn the dreadful 30.
