I Chose...

NEIGHBORHOOD B: Heliopolis ("city of the sun")!

The city was established by Belgian Baron Empain in 1905 after he purchased a plot of desert to found the Cairo Electric Railway and Heliopolis Oases Company. With broad boulevards, gardens, necessary infrastructure, and modern conveniences, Heliopolis was purposed to be a "city of luxury and leisure".

The Korba district is the old center of Heliopolis with beautiful Andalusian and Moorish style architecture and churches and cultural centers as remnants of cosmopolitan, multi-cultural age in which the "city of the sun" was founded.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your comments...THANKS! How well you know me :)
