School Tales: Revelations?

I caught up with "Wild Child" today while supervising the lunch line, post-TAKS. As he was maneuvering his tray through the line, I noticed the Bible I gave him tucked under his arm. It's neon green. You can't miss it. Apparently, this was his chosen reading material, post-test. As he noticed me surveying the lunchroom, he held his Bible up to show me, oh so proudly:
"When I'm done reading John, do you think I can read Revelation?"
Ummmmmmmm...........................how do I say this?
I think so!
Yes!
Yes PLEASE!
BE MY GUEST!
BY ALL MEANS!!!!!
ABSO-FREAKIN'-LUTELY!

Oh me of little faith. I expected that Bible to be discarded in a gym locker or a drawer at home. The child has nearly finished John and can't wait to get more. God is GREAT. Please ask that He continues to draw this one to Himself.

"No one can come to Me unless the Father who
sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day."
(John 6:44)

P.S. Pet peeve ALERT: I can't stand it when people refer to the book as Revelations. It's singular, people!!

Oh, yeah I *also* just HATE it when people put an "s" on the end of Revelations.

In an unrelated note I went to Barnes & Nobles yesterday...
