Today I found my prodigal gumbo recipe while cleaning out! Actually, it's a collection of random recipes from whence sprung my own special formula. Although I didn't recover my own recipe notes from years of making gumbo, I am not complaining after this discovery. Now I can easily recall my personal methods. In my estimation, my recipe notes have been MIA for 3+ years. The last time I made gumbo was 2 years ago for a group of friends, and well... it just wasn't the same :( I'm so excited!!!!!!
