In all its' glory, I present to you the piñata. Actually, it's kind of an eye sore! We rummaged around to find the necessary supplies: newspaper, a balloon, glue and a mixing bowl. I bought the balloon one night from a vendor on Hassan II Blvd. School supplies do not abound in Morocco and Elmer's-esque glue was a novelty even at Marjane (a la Walmart), where one measly bottle was procured. Nevertheless, my kids loved the piñata, begging to work on it a little each day. I let them paint it with supplies from the art room; they fought over the appropriate paint colors. The papier-mache fell a bit lending to the odd shape.
