Auberge near the Dades Gorge

After a long day of travel with many photo opps, we reached our hotel near the Dades Gorge. What you can't see is the enormous rock formation in front of the hotel, which the balcony overlooked. What you can't hear is the brook babbling below, slicing into the rock's base. The weather was warm and sunny; the evening- cool and cloudless. We spent the afternoon relaxing on the patio, drinking in the stunning landscape. After descending to the terrace deck for dinner, we climbed to the roof and marveled at the shimmering stars above.
