I went to the Big Apple a few weeks ago. Good times, except I got pneumonia and was miserable most of the time. However, it was my second time to visit and I got to see and do many new things. Highlight #1: the Met- Egyptian temple, Islamic art, Louis Tiffany's estate (of Tiffany lamp fame). Highlight #2: meandering through various neighborhoods by myself.
