Overheard while shopping:

Scenario 1
Mom: "I'm gonna strangle those kids."
Little Girl (presumably youngest child): "Mommy, what does strangle mean?"

OOPS!

Scenario 2
Youngish boy (maybe 10 y/o): "Dad, do you think those girls are cute? Mom's not around."

I only wish I heard Dad's response.
