Every Moroccan abode has beautiful carpets which help generate a little bit of extra warmth in un-heated homes in the "dead" of winter. It is commonly colder inside the homes than outside. This particular carpet was woven by nomads (Berbers) and cost around $7,000...more than my life is worth. I coveted the carpet!
