This afternoon, Emily boarded a Lufthansa flight from Houston to Frankfurt. From there, she will continue on to Cairo. The great adventure has begun and we were sad to see her leave. But we know that God is there with her and we take comfort in that. Here is a picture at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston (Mom, Emily & Sister Andrea).
