IT'S RAINING!!!!!!!!!!!
...for the first time since I moved to Egypt. And not any piddly sprinkles either- it's all out pouring with some thunder thrown in for funzies. I've never been so excited to see rain in my life. It was hilarious to watch children rush out to their balconies just to feel the cool drops on their outstretched palms.

i think it was the call to prayer. we live down the street from a mosque.
