One Year Ago

I was in Iowa at the job fair deciding where to spend the next few years. It seemed to be the biggest decision of my life and, oh, how frenzied and anxious I was. Through the past year, God's faithfulness has been more real to me than ever. I am so blessed to be here in Egypt. I have amazing friends, a wonderful church, an apartment in which I feel completely at home, a job I love teaching children I adore, and a salary and vacation time sufficient to afford me ample opportunities to explore the world around me.
